Welcome

Welcome to Musk Strawberries online. My first exposure to musk strawberries was nearly 20 years ago. I was uncertain what they were so I ordered some from a nursery here in Delaware. They sold them bare root. They grew well, way too well. They nearly took over my greenhouse. You see, musk strawberries produce runners. They produce a LOT of them.

My experience with the fruit was interesting. I have to admit that initially I wasn’t fond of the taste. I think it might have been because I had recently tasted fraises des bois, alpine strawberries. My taste has evolved. Musk strawberries are unique and very aromatic. Unfortunately, they are June-bearing which means that they produce a crop once in the spring. But, the taste packed into them makes taking care of them the rest of the year worthwhile.

We take special orders for plants (plugs) of this species that are grown from seed at The Strawberry Store Buy Plants. We also sell seeds. For seed sales please visit The Strawberry Store to view and purchase our products including musk strawberry seeds.
